Introduction

Security communications being integral part of public relations has been brought to fore of our national challenge given the emerging issues arising from terrorism, insurgency, cyber-attacks, online bullying, blackmail, propaganda and fake news among other societal vices.

Contemporary communications managers require effective tools and innovative skills set to address these challenging national issues.

This hands on master class is intend to address challenges faced by communications managers in the security and rescue management field and contemporary best practices for PR writing.

The workshop will be interactive and will equip participants with the principles and practice of effective writing skills suitable for contemporary security communications tasks

Course Objective

Participants will be able to

  • Utilize online and traditional communications tools
  • Understand and use social media in a crisis
  • Develop strategy and messaging for employees, media and other critical stakeholders

Course Fee: N50, 000 per participant per course module. N90,000 per participant paying for two modules and N120,000 per participant paying for the three modules.
