To the Peace and Conflict Resolution Resource Centre (PEACrEc) promoters of the Military Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers Forum (MILPOPPROF)
Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible women in all the uniformed services all over Nigeria.
Being a Mother is beyond having children; it’s about building them up to be purposeful and blessings to the community and the larger society. It is about giving birth to generational goodness and creating an environment of peace and stability through god-fearing, appropriate and adequate parenting. In the midst of insecurities, uncertainties, insurgence, terror, crisis, and instabilities God is trusting you to play a positive role through your persuasive powers to mediate and create that harmony that the world is in dire need of. God has entrusted in the woman spiritual and physical powers not for her personal life but for the creation of a better world and most importantly drawing men unto Him. Today is a call to action. A day to ask ourselves how we can fulfill this role and help our Creator in His desire for a world where peace and justice reign. I will ask you, therefore, to be strong, courageous, bold, productive, resilient, always giving, always praying, always thankful, always truthful. I will ask you to be the light and the salt of the world. I will ask that in the midst of all these you also find yourself and be happy and fulfilled. Happy Mother’s Day.
